Ward 1 - Dover City Council

A Pragmatic Voice for Dover’s Future
I am running to represent Ward One on the Dover City Council because this city is at a critical moment. Dover has always been a community of character, strength, and innovation — but with rapid growth and rising costs, we are at risk of losing the very qualities that make it special. My goal is to bring common sense, strategic thinking, and community pride to the council so that Dover’s future remains as strong as its past.

Thank you to everyone who came out in support of common sense and a belief Dover is worth saving from cheap development that none of us asked for.
I Am A Tax Fighter
Dover deserves leadership rooted in problem-solving, not political gamesmanship. Too often, candidates highlight issues but never offer clear solutions. My approach is different. I believe in listening first, building consensus, and taking practical steps that balance growth with preservation.
independent-minded conservative
I’m not here to push extreme agendas or make empty promises. Instead, I want to focus on what matters: protecting families from crushing costs, strengthening our infrastructure, preserving our heritage, and ensuring Dover continues to be a place where future generations can thrive
My Priorities
Housing Affordability
Everyone says “Housing Affordability” but define it. Property taxes have risen year after year, leaving working families and seniors wondering if they can afford to stay in their homes. It’s unfair, and it’s unsustainable. Development should serve the people of Dover — not the other way around. There are a variety of valid concerns surrounding the partially tax payer funded waterfront development project that warrant further inquiry. I’ll work to ensure responsible growth that doesn’t saddle residents with endless costs, and I’ll fight to keep housing affordable so families and retirees alike can remain part of our community.
Infrastructure & Public Safety
Our roads, utilities, and public spaces are showing their age. Too many projects are delayed or ignored until they become crises. From unsafe trails to outdated utilities, Dover deserves a proactive plan, not patchwork fixes. I’ll prioritize smart investments that protect both taxpayers and quality of life, ensuring that seniors aren’t burdened by runaway tax bills and that kids can enjoy safe neighborhoods and parks.
Strategic Growth
Growth is inevitable, but it must be thoughtful. Too much of what we see today is disconnected, rushed, and lacking vision. Dover’s growth should enhance our character — not erase it. I want to shape a long-term plan that ties new development into our cultural and economic fabric, supports small businesses, and positions Dover as a leader in sustainable, community-focused growth.
A TOUCH OF CREATIVITY
Practical leadership doesn’t mean we can’t also have a little fun. Imagine Henry Law Park with bronze Ninja Turtle statues — a quirky, family-friendly attraction that sparks joy, draws visitors, and sets Dover apart. Sometimes the best ideas are the ones that mix imagination with local pride. Small projects like these can bring outsized benefits for community spirit and the local economy.
PRESERVING OUR HISTORY
Dover is one of New Hampshire’s oldest and most historic cities. Our architecture, cultural landmarks, and traditions form the foundation of our identity. I believe strongly in protecting that heritage while planning for the future. Preserving our history is not just about nostalgia — it’s about maintaining the character that makes Dover unique and worth calling home.

Vision & Common Sense
This campaign is about more than policies it’s about principles. It’s about believing Dover’s best days are ahead of us if we choose leaders who value both tradition and innovation.
I bring energy, honesty, and a mindset rooted in community and family. My commitment is simple: to listen, to serve with integrity, and to ensure that Dover continues to be a city where families like mine — and yours — can thrive for generations.
Let’s get back to basics. Let’s invest in what matters. And let’s do it with both practicality and creativity.
